Staff Nurse
Salary: £14.50 - £16.16 per hour + paid breaks (£28,000 - £30,000 per annum)
Location: Bloxwich, Walsall
Hours: Days & Nights Available/ Full or Part Time Hours
Shifts: 8am - 8pm on offer or 8am - 2pm, 2pm - 8am.


One of the largest independent healthcare providers in the UK is currently seeking a registered nurse for their new, purpose-built nursing home in the pleasant residential area of Bloxwich, Walsall.

The facility is fairly newly built and modern providing high-quality care including general nursing and residential care, specialist dementia care and stroke rehabilitation care alongside having a younger physically disabled unit, making the site varied yet easily manageable as the site is split off between four units with 20 beds on each.

All 4 units in total and each unit fully effective and compliant with CQC, ideally located also Bloxwich is assessible via all major road links and via public transport.

Before commencing the role you will be engaged in dementia awareness and dementia mapping courses if required alongside gaining any general clinical skills; residents vary from early onset and mild dementia patients to those with behaviours that challenge, general and intermediate care patients and younger physically disabled unit. To aid you in your role you will be offered a week long classroom based induction and a week supervisory induction.

The senior management team are all nurse qualified, the home manager and clinical services manager who will be supporting you have been nursing for 10 + years and are highly experienced.

Your role as registered nurse will be to deliver the highest level of clinical care alongside ensuring all physical and emotional needs are met, Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of the residents and acting as a named nurse for a selected group of patients.
