Time Recruitment is pleased to be assisting in the search for a Staff Nurse for a large, nationwide and reputable independent specialist secure and step down service in the UK. With hospitals nationwide the company offer 30 years of excellence and are the industry's leading professionals in the business; being the primary service for NHS patients coming into the community.

The service is a specialist learning disabilities service for males only catered for those who are stepping down; this is a low secure service where assessment, treatment and rehabilitation is given to those who have complex conditions, some challenging behaviours and vulnerabilities.

This is a number of community based rehabilitation houses that prepare patients for community discharge.

A service with such an array of specialisms required an experienced RGN/RMN/RNLD staff nurse who has preferably worked in a similar service but as a national and largely reputable care provider they also offer an inclusive two week induction period, ongoing commitment to training and development and a wealth of highly experience staff on shift; including several staff nurses meaning you can provide 1:2:1 care; you will be heavily assisted by support staff also.

" Therapeutic intervention
" Assessing the physical, social and emotional needs of patients
" Medication rounds
" Assessment and discharge
" Working within a clinical governance framework

To apply for the Staff Nurse position you MUST RNLD qualified with a recognised NMC pin due to the nature of the service. We would like candidates to have had challenging behaviour experience but this is not essential.

Staff Nurses working for this highly regarded company will work through a distinct career pathway after probation in which they can work on an NHS grading system increasing pay; increasing annual leave allowance and professional management development will be paid for also.
