Deputy Manager - RGN/RMN or RNLD
Location: Newark-on-Trent, Nottingham
Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour
Hours: 33 hours - 22 clinical hours - 11 supernumerary hours

Time Recruitment is aiding the search for a Deputy Manager for a specialist dementia facility in the stunning area of Newark on Trent, Nottingham.

The service is highly regarded and renowned for its residential and nursing dementia provision boasting an excellent CQC report which was completed more recently.

With only the best dementia specialist nursing and care staff all staff coming into the service receive dementia champion training and this is a forward moving facility always trialling new therapies to aid the service users in transition.

The service is a stunning property boasting an array of lounges, physiotherapy rooms, sensory rooms and beautiful grounds around the home, a modern and well invested service with an excellent reputation.

The company is a nationally recognised provider for mental health care and is affiliated with the NHS; the home is small yet easily manageable with 40 beds in total compromising of residential and nursing beds; nurses are largely supported and have 2 other staff nurses on shift and an array of long standing experienced care staff.

Your role will be a steady mix of working clinically within your clinical and non-clinical team to maintain your clinical skills whilst managing and supervising on a supernumerary basis alongside the following:
" Auditing
" CQC and CCG preparation
" Family liaison
" Admissions and discharges
" Working closely with the home manager delivering staff training/supervision
" Recruitment and retention
" Inductions and shadowing
" MDT meetings
" Incident reporting and DOLS requests
