Hospital Manager (RMN/RNLD) - up to £36,000 - North London

Time Recruitment is working with a high quality community hospital that covers London and the Home Counties. The company also offer specialist residential and specialist transition services as well as the hospitals. The hospitals support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism and asperger's conditions.
For every individual who enters the hospital, there is an initial assessment made which details treatment and intervention plans with a goal to enable the service user to move onto greater dependence and a less restricting environment.
They are looking for a Hospital Manager who is either a qualified RMN or RNLD for a fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave. Below are some of the responsibilities:
o Unit Roster - ensure the roster is drawn up in accordance with Care Hour Guidelines and wage cost budgets.
o Staff Appraisals - ensure that annual staff appraisals are carried out and a pulse-appraisal is carried out after six-months thereafter.
o Keyworker Reports - ensure that Keyworker Reports are carried out on a monthly basis and action taken as necessary.
o Staff - ensure that staff meetings take place a minimum of once a month. Provide support and advise to the Unit's staff team.
o Training - Induction, mandatory training and continuous professional development for qualified nursing staff.
o Health and Safety - ensure policy and guidelines are carried out at all times.
o Meetings - ensure that all meetings are attended as appropriate. To attend weekly Care Plan meetings and weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings.
o Programme Planning and Care Plans - ensure these are carried out as per policies and procedures.
o Reviews - ensure these are carried out as per policy and procedure.
o Records - ensure regular monitoring and completion of all appropriate documentation.
o Budgeting - ensure that policies and procedures regarding finances are followed.
o Medication - ensure that relevant policies and procedures are adhered to.
o Service Promotion - ensure that a positive image of the Company is observed at all times. This includes regular quality time spent with parents and carers. It includes projecting a positive attitude at all times when liaising with other professionals or persons in association with the Organisation at whatever level.
