Do you love going the extra mile for people to make them feel valued and respected?

If so, I really want to hear from you.

Time Recruitment is working alongside a highly regarded national client in selecting autism support workers for their location on the outskirts of Macclesfield, Cheshire. Our client is looking for someone who has personal experience of dealing with or providing care to people with autism or other learning disabilities. This could include family members or friends.

The location has been transformed under its new management and offers a beautiful backdrop to the important work you will be doing. The management will support you at every turn, providing you with the necessary support to deliver excellent care whilst simultaneously promoting your personal development. The service provides residential care for younger adults (16-25) with autism, learning disabilities or other complex needs.

The facility employs a multi-disciplinary approach to care and support for around twenty people at a time, many requiring 24 hour care. You will provide one-to-one support to residents. Outings and special events like sports days are organised on a regular basis, making each day unique. If you're a naturally caring, patient person with a desire to help people this could be the position for you.

All applicants will be required to complete a DBS check, paid for by our client. Flexibility in terms of working evenings, weekends and nights on a rota basis is a must, but you will usually be able to work according to your preferences. Your meals will be paid for you and you will receive full training and a uniform.

Ideally you will have previous experience as a support worker, and it is imperative that you are able to provide solid professional references for past employment.

The facility is well serviced by a regular bus route.
