Regional Quality Manager - Care Homes
Location: Cheshire / Merseyside / Manchester
Package: up to £50,000pa plus Company Car

I am currently selecting for a Regional Clinical Quality Manager to work on behalf of a large national provider of elderly care. This is a nationally based role that will require extensive travel across the North West of England, specifically Cheshire, Merseyside and Manchester areas.

Salary on offer is up to £50,000pa plus a company car and a corporate benefits package.

Role Specifics:

* Most of time spent in the Care Homes but likely to have one day per week working from their own home
* The Quality Manager will identify areas of concern, carry out focused clinical visits (look at Meds management, Care Plans, Quality of care being delivered) and monitor homes that have regulatory issues.
* Hands on job supporting homes to achieve improvements in quality and safety
* Main purpose of the job is to keep people safe

What's expected of you:

* To work with the Clinical Quality Manager to ensure clinical and Resident care policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented
* Undertake clinical and quality audit of service standards including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Support Home Managers and the operations team with the implementation of quality improvement plans for services with quality challenges.
* To advise operation colleagues on key clinical and care issues and new developments.
* To Work with the quality team to implement improvement initiatives across all teams with a focus on medicines and care planning.

What we are looking for:

* Nurse qualified (essential)
* Evidence of further professional development in relation to care, management or quality.
*Experience of working in a care home or a care of older people environment although consideration will be given to those with other strong clinical and operational backgrounds.
