Leeds (South), West Yorkshire

---BACKGROUND---
TIME Recruitment is currently working with a nationally renowned health & social care provider in selecting a Nursing Home Deputy (qualified nurse RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join the management team at a CQC compliant 80 bedded care home based near Leeds.

---THE ROLE---
As a Nursing Home Deputy, you will play a leading role in the provision of top-class care and support to residents. You will need to be confident in managing teams of clinical and non-clinical staff, supervising and monitoring performance on a regular basis. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a keen understanding of CQC standards are crucial to the role.

The home caters to up to 80 residents at a time, and with this in mind, the ideal candidate will come from a senior nursing background in the elderly care sector. Experience and competence in auditing, staff performance management, rotas and a working knowledge of budgets would be highly desirable.

This is a largely supernumerary role, meaning you'll need to be well organised and confident in dealing with management processes and documentation. Working closely with the Home Manager, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for any ambitious nurse looking to progress.

Our client has a large number of services throughout Yorkshire and can offer realistic progression pathways for Deputy Managers looking to progress into Home or Senior Management.

---PROGRESSION POTENTIAL---
Our client offers a thorough induction programme, supported by on-going training and professional development. For nurses looking to progress, our client is large enough to offer ample progression opportunities, along with specialist training in areas like dementia and palliative care. You will also be encouraged to progress through formal management qualifications should you wish to develop further.

---PAY & BENEFITS---
This role is offering a competitive salary of £37,000 to the successful candidate. This is supplemented by the following additional benefits:

- generous matched pension contributions
- NMC/DBS costs paid
- free uniform
- a range of discounts with major retailers
- access to high quality, extensive induction and continuing training
- private health & dental care
