Clinical Unit Manager
Salary: £15.50 - £16.00 per hour + Excellent Benefits (£35,464 per annum)
Location: Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff

Hours: Days only - 40 hours

A national industry leading care group operating across the UK are looking for a Clinical Unit Manger in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff. Based closely to Aberdare train station with excellent road links the facility is easily commutable with a great CSSIW report.

The company are RCN accredited for its training and development packages and have won multiple awards.

The facility is a modern and recently renovated nursing home offering clinical excellence in residential and nursing dementia care and is easily manageable with 47 residents in total, 20 being nursing patients in which you will oversee the management of this unit, ensuring the development and training of several staff nurses and care staff in which you will be assisted by a clinical trainer and deputy manager.

Other duties for the role are as follows:

- Overseeing all clinical staff within the unit
- Accountable for the smooth running of the nursing unit
- Providing leadership and direction to the nursing and care staff
- Assessing all residents individual care needs
- Appraisals and supervisions
- Delegating shifts and duties to nursing and care staff
- Family liaison
- Emergency management
- Therapeutic and clinical intervention

Part of your pivotal role as the unit manager will be to work with a large and varied multi-disciplinary team as part of the senior management team as a point of contact for the clinical aspect of the facility.
