Staff Nurse (RMN/RNLD)
Location: Chellaston, Welshpool
Salary: £26,730 to £31,125 per annum
" Starting pay is dependent on experience - £12.85 (Newly Qualified Preceptor) to £15.10 per hour, this includes a location enhancement of 50p per hour
"
Hours: 37.5 per week - days or nights available

Time Recruitment are currently looking for specialist RMN/RNLD's for an award winning service in Chellaston, Welshpool.
The site is a dual registered low secure service for working age adults with learning disabilities under the autistic spectrum or patients displaying complex mental health needs such as personality disorders, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, depression and associated conditions including; substance misuse or drug abuse.
The site is specifically for male service users and is a rehabilitation service tailored for therapeutic interventions aiming for timely discharge into the community, alongside this the site offers a crisis service for short term assessment and treatment before transfer or returning home and receiving support from the community support team.
The service is available for those:
" Currently living in the community who due to crisis require a period of stabilisation to enable them to return back to their home environment
" Coming out of an acute hospital setting and require a period of structured rehabilitation.
" Stepping down from secure care and require a period of rehabilitation before moving into the community

We are looking for a Staff Nurse with experience working in a similar clinical area or with similar service users that can provide specialist therapeutic care encouraging positive behaviour, providing transitional support and guiding service users to independence. Your role will be to lead an experienced support team and work with multi-disciplinary teams getting involved in treatment programmes.

This is a developmental role where you will act as a named nurse for a select few patients, the size of the unit is reasonable and staffing levels are maintained with there being no need for agency users and a long standing nurse manager in place.

The company is a national provider so training and development will also be provided on a regular basis to ensure the up skilling of their nurses enabling them to provide the best therapeutic care in the area; resulting in patients successfully rehabilitating; the site boasts some excellent success stories.
