New Claims Manager
£25,000 to £30,000

Due to constant success and growth our client who are the leading motor insurance and motor cycle claims management company in the UK are looking to hire a New Claims Manager for their offices in Crewe, Cheshire.

Our client have been trading for over 17 years within the insurance and claims sector and due to increased expansion are on the look-out for candidates to add value to their business and in return offer you a fantastic opportunity to progress with the company for many years to come.

Responsibilities of the Role:

To have overall management control and responsibility for the designated claims team; to manage teams of handlers, motivating the team with a view to ensuring that all clients claims are professionally and swiftly dealt with, whilst at all times enhancing business processes and achieving business objectives. To develop teams that deliver both quality and results. To develop relationships with our existing sources.

The role of the Team Manager will be pivotal to the success of the Company. The job demands strong leadership, organisational, relationship building and management skills together with the ability to motivate train and develop others to achieve business objectives. One of the Company's main intentions is to provide a quality service to our sources and clients and the Team Manager must ensure this service is delivered on a continuous basis. The position will also require a determination to succeed and the building of strong relationships with our sources and other team members.

Experience & Knowledge required:

" Solid accident management and operational experience.
" Solid man management experience.
" At least 6 months Team Senior experience.
" Sound judgment and technical knowledge, together with commercial awareness.
" Must be able to manage through others and have excellent interpersonal, communication and motivational skills.
" Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to plan, implement and deliver business objectives.
" The ability to build relationships with key people, both internally and externally, and introduce 'fun' into the workplace.
" The ability to use initiative at all times and make decisions when necessary.
" Good working knowledge of motor sector issues.
" Be PC literate having a good knowledge of Microsoft.
