Commercial Credit Controller
Verwood, Dorset
Salary: £ Negotiatable

Due to continued growth both in the UK and Europe our client are now looking to increase their staffing numbers across a variety of divisions.
Therefore we are now looking to recruit a Commercial Credit Controller to join the Finance Team within our clients office in Verwood, Dorset.

Job Purpose:
To assist in limiting the company's credit risk exposure, and responsible for the collection of monies owed.

Main Accountabilities:
" Being part of the credit control team maintaining the agreed team and individual targets.
" To assist in the accurate and timely invoicing of hire files, ensuring that any invoicing issues or errors are dealt with prior to sending to customers where possible.
" To manage your work levels whist ensuring that all outstanding debt is chased on a regular basis including where possible to arrange full or agreed settlements.
" Follow existing procedures to track through on customers who may represent a credit risk, gathering relevant and appropriate information that can be used operationally, for credit control and for our business areas.
" Ensure that all accounts are paid in line with pre agreed contractual obligations, and any falling out of agreed terms are reported to your team leader or line Manager.
" Responsible for ensuring all outstanding debts are collected in line with monthly targets and any issues arising are documented, understood and escalated where applicable.
" Responsible for resolving customer issues and queries, in a timely and accurate manner. Seeking the advice, guidance and support from the team leader / line Manager where applicable.
" To assist with the administration of the team's day to day processes.
" To support the work of the team, contribute to team meetings, develop good practice within the team and assist colleagues in their work.
" To ensure that an understanding of the importance of confidentiality is applied when undertaking all duties.
" Support with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the team leader or line manager.
" Work towards team and individual targets.
